Sunnahs
Following the path of our Prophet (pbuh)
Performing the Tahajjud prayer is a confirmed Sunnah.
It is Sunnah to recite the following supplication upon waking up: “Praise be to Allah, who revives us after He has caused us to die. And to Him is the return.”
It is Sunnah to recite the following supplication upon entering the toilet: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils!” And upon exiting, “O Allah, I ask for Your forgiveness, pardon me!”
After performing ablution, reciting the Shahada is a Sunnah.
Reciting the Quran with melodious intonation, according to Tajwid, is a Sunnah.
Starting work early in the morning is a practical Sunnah.
Earning a living through one's own labor is a Sunnah of the Prophets.
Repenting and seeking forgiveness at least a hundred times a day is a Sunnah.
Seeking refuge in Allah by reciting Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas is a Sunnah.
Washing one's hands thoroughly before and after meals is a Sunnah.
It is Sunnah to begin eating with Bismillah, to eat with the right hand, and to eat from what is in front of you.
The Prophet would thoroughly clean his plate with a piece of bread after eating.
It is Sunnah to drink water in three sips instead of in one gulp.
It is Sunnah to say "Alhamdulillah" after eating or drinking.
It is Sunnah to say "Allah'as-sajda" or "Tawakkaltu al-allah" when parting ways.
It is Sunnah to begin with the right when putting on shoes and clothes, to enter with the right foot, and to give priority to those on the right.
When offered a drink, he would leave a little and offer it to the person on his right.
Giving greetings is Sunnah, while receiving them is obligatory. When leaving a group, greetings should be given.
The rider should greet the walker, the walker should greet the sitter, and the smaller group should greet the larger.
Greeting children is one of the Sunnahs.
Performing the Ishraq prayer is Sunnah.
Covering the mouth with the hand when yawning is Sunnah.
Visiting the sick is Sunnah. It is necessary to observe proper etiquette.
Ruqyah, reciting verses from the Quran for the sick, is Sunnah.
Offering a simple and concise prayer for the sick person is Sunnah.
Closing the eyes of a deceased person is Sunnah.
It is a Sunnah to desire to be with virtuous and benevolent people.
When asking for permission, it is Sunnah to state one's name.
A person should introduce themselves by stating their name, surname, and profession.
When returning from a journey, he would praise God: "We are returning from a journey, repenting, and praising our Lord."
Welcoming guests or travelers is in accordance with the Sunnah.
Exchanging gifts is a Sunnah.
Giving in charity in the way of Allah is a great Sunnah.
It is Sunnah to look to those lower in worldly matters, and higher in religious matters.
It is necessary to feed and clothe servants with what one eats and wears.
Muslims should express gratitude by saying, "Jazakallahu khairan".
It is Sunnah to chew something sweet and give it to a newborn child.
It is Sunnah to visit virtuous places.
It is Sunnah to visit the Quba Mosque on Saturdays and perform two rak'ahs.
It is Sunnah to express one's love to a loved one.
It is Sunnah to raise one's hands while praying.
It is Sunnah to listen to Quran recitations from a hafiz.
After prayer, he would say "Astaghfirullah" three times and the peace supplication.
Caring for poor people in need is a sunnah.
Using examples when explaining topics is a sunnah.
When praying in open areas, it is a sunnah to erect a barrier (sutrah).
Reciting the Adhan is one of the Sunnahs of Islam.

Covering one's mouth after sneezing is a Sunnah.
Helping someone fulfill their oath is Sunnah.
Shaking hands is Sunnah.
Seeking refuge in Allah when setting out on a journey is Sunnah.
Praying and seeking refuge in Allah from harm is Sunnah.
Performing a full ablution on Friday is Sunnah.
Praying two rak'ahs in the mosque and two at home after Friday prayer is Sunnah.
Waking up for suhoor is Sunnah.
Hastening to break the fast is Sunnah.
Breaking the fast with dates or water is Sunnah.
Offering a prayer to Allah after breaking the fast is Sunnah.
Being mindful of not missing Laylat al-Qadr is Sunnah.
Praying "O Allah! You love to forgive, forgive me!" on Laylat al-Qadr is Sunnah.
Worshipping more during the last ten days of Ramadan is Sunnah.
Performing I'tikaf in a mosque during the last ten days is Sunnah.
Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays is Sunnah.
Fasting on the 13th, 14th, and 15th days of the lunar month is a Sunnah.
Traveling using different routes for Eid prayers is a Sunnah.
Fasting on Ashura is a Sunnah.
Remaining silent if speech is not better is a Sunnah.
Thanking Allah after wearing a new garment is a Sunnah.
Trimming the mustache,
Growing a beard,
Using a miswak,
Rinsing the nose with water,
Cutting nails,
Cleaning finger joints,
Removing armpit hair,
Cleaning private parts,
Performing istinja,
Rinsing the mouth with water are natural sunnahs.
Showing hospitality to guests is sunnah.
Helping with household chores is sunnah.
Love for children is one of the sunnahs.
Reciting medium length surahs during Isha prayer is sunnah.
Reciting Amanar-Rasul every night is a Sunnah.
Memorizing Surah At-Tabarakah and reciting it every night is a Sunnah.
Extinguishing fire before sleep is a Sunnah.
Performing ablution and lying on the right side before sleep is Sunnah.
Placing the right hand under the cheek during sleep is Sunnah.
Reciting Ayat al-Kursi before sleep is a Sunnah.
Consistently performing good deeds is a Sunnah.
He would begin every task with Bismillah. He would use his right hand for good deeds and his left hand for other tasks.
He would eat with three fingers of his right hand and would not wipe his fingers without licking them.
He would eat from the part of the plate that was in front of him.
He would eat sitting on the floor. He would not eat or drink standing or walking.
He would clean up any food that fell on the floor before eating.
He would begin eating with those at the table.
He would drink water sitting down and in three sips.
He would not breathe into the cup.
He would allocate one-third of his stomach to food, one-third to water, and one-third to breath.
He would not eat unless he was hungry, and would leave the table before he was full.
He would take only as much food as he could eat.
He would not lean against anything while eating. He would not talk with food in his mouth.
He would start his meal with salt and end it with salt.
He would eat two meals a day. He would eat only one type of food per meal.
He would not lie down immediately after eating.
He would eat fruit before the meal.
When he finished eating, he would pray Alhamdulillah.
He would not find fault with the food. He would not eat hot food.
He would fast on Mondays and Thursdays.
He would greet everyone.
He would greet when entering and leaving a gathering.
When someone extended their hand, he would not withdraw his until the other person did.
He did not shake hands with women.
He would offer his elders a seat.
He kept his promises.
He would exchange gifts.
He did not laugh loudly; he only smiled.
He would either speak good or remain silent.
He spoke slowly and in a moderate tone.
He would repeat important things three times.
He would begin and end his speech with the name of Allah.
He would not get angry over worldly matters.
He liked to wear white clothes.
He would not lie, even in jest.
When he sneezed, he would put his hand over his mouth.
He would lie on his right side to sleep.
He would repent a hundred times a day.
He would not lie face down.
When he got into bed, he would recite Surah Ikhlas, Falaq, and Nas, and stroke his body.
He did not judge anyone by their appearance, loved the poor.
He would perform the sunnah of the morning prayer in his room.
He wore leather socks (mest).
When putting on his shoes, he would start with the right one.
He would cover his head with a skullcap and turban and pray.
He would not approach mosques smelling of onions and garlic.
He would not enter toilets with items inscribed with sacred words.
He would offer hospitality to his guests in clean attire.
He would ask the person who sneezed to say Alhamdulillah.
He would go to places he was invited to.
He would try to hide yawning.
He used to run and race with his wife.
He did not investigate anyone's faults.
He used a miswak when performing ablution.
He would not eat anything before the sacrifice on Eid.
He performed all his prayers with reverence.
He kept his surroundings clean and tidy.
He gave charity.
He would wake up at night to perform the Tahajjud prayer.
He treated his wives very well and consulted with them.
He protected the things entrusted to him.
He contemplated deeply and thought about death.
When passing by a cemetery, he would greet the deceased.
He would cut his nails on Fridays.
Before entering a door, he would greet and ask for permission.
When passing by a graveyard, he would greet them.
He would not ask anything from anyone. He mended his own clothes.
He would visit sick friends and relatives.
He would keep his visits to the sick short.
He never said "No".
He wanted all kinds of knowledge to be learned.
He would not do to others what he would not want done to himself.
He drank water from a glass bowl.
Before putting on his shoes, he would turn them upside down and shake them.
While walking, he would walk looking straight ahead.
He treated his elders with respect.
He always went about his life in a state of ablution.
When someone called out to him, he would turn his whole body.
When someone spoke, he would listen and not interrupt.
When leaving the house, he would look in the mirror.
He carried a comb, mirror, miswak, toothpick, scissors, and kohl.
Before going to bed, he would apply kohl.
Upon waking, he would clean his teeth.
He loved orphans and children very much.
He would take a midday nap (kaylule).
He would help with household chores.
If he saw a mistake, he would gently warn the person.
He would eat only clean and lawful things.
He would command Muslims to learn foreign languages.
He enjoyed looking at greenery and flowing water.
He liked dates and pumpkin dishes.
He would occasionally walk barefoot.
He would say to read the Quran to understand it.
He would not interrupt two people talking.
When he acquired a new garment, he would wear it on Friday.
If someone wronged him, he would forgive them.
