Purification Guide

Performing wudu is obligatory for prayer. Angel Jibreel taught it to the Prophet (pbuh) alongside prayer. Here is the step-by-step guide:
- 1.Washing the face once — from the hairline to the chin, between the earlobes.
- 2.Washing both arms including the elbows once.
- 3.Wiping one-fourth of the head with wet hands.
- 4.Washing the feet including the ankle bones once.
“"O you who have believed, when you rise to perform prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles..." (Surah Al-Ma'idah, 6)”
Begin by making the intention: 'I intend to perform wudu for the sake of Allah'.
Recite: 'Audhu Billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim, Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim'.
Wash both hands up to the wrists three times.
Interlace the fingers of both hands to thoroughly clean between them.
Rinse the mouth three times using the right hand.
Rinse the nostrils three times using the right hand.
Blow the water out of the nose using the left hand.
Wash the entire face three times, from the hairline to the chin and ear to ear.
Wash the right arm three times, including the elbow.
Wash the left arm three times, including the elbow.
Wipe one-fourth of the upper head with wet hands.
Wipe the inside of the ears with index fingers and the back with thumbs.
Wipe the back of the neck using the backs of both hands.
Wash the right foot three times up to the ankle, cleaning between toes.
Wash the left foot three times up to the ankle, cleaning between toes.
