Al-Mu'izz
"The Honourer, who bestows dignity and esteem."
Meaning
The One who grants might, honour, elevation, dignity and esteem.
Allah Almighty says: "Say: 'O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honour whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.'" (Al 'Imran, 26)
The names Al-Mu'izz and Al-Mudhill do not occur as names in the Qur'an; they appear only as verbs. Whomever Allah has raised He has made honoured, and whomever He has abased He has made lowly. Being honoured or lowly comes about in this world as it does in the Hereafter.
Al-Mu'izz is the One who supports His friends against their enemies in this world and makes them prevail, and who in the Hereafter honours them and receives them in the finest manner. Allah has honoured and ennobled His friends by granting them success in worshipping and obeying Him — for there is no honour greater than obedience to Allah. Allah has ennobled His friends through contentment, through sincerity and purity of intention in their deeds, and through abandoning the desires and cravings of their lower selves.
He is the One who gives dominion to whom He wills. Whoever's heart He unveils so that it beholds His beauty, whom He immerses in the blessing of contentment so that he needs none of the creation, and whom He grants strength and support so that his lower self cannot crush him — that person He has truly honoured and has given dominion to while still in this world.

The noble name Al-Mu'izz is recited 117 times as "Ya Mu'izz, jalla jalaluhu" in order to be honoured in this world and the next, to be beloved among people, and to be protected from every kind of evil.
Whoever recites the noble name Al-Mu'izz 40 times after the sunset prayer or on a Friday night, Allah Most High places awe of him in the hearts of the people.
If the noble name Al-Mu'izz is recited 570 times for protection from envy and oppression and one then goes into prostration, the supplication of the reciter is answered.
