Al-Wakil

The Trustee of all things, the greatest Guardian — the One in whom trust is placed and upon whom one relies; who takes upon Himself the affairs of His creatures and manages them better; and who suffices to help His servants. Allah Almighty says: "And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." (An-Nisa, 81) "...And said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.'" (Al 'Imran, 173) "...Take not besides Me a Disposer of affairs." (Al-Isra, 2) A trustee is one whom the person granting the trust has authorised to act on his behalf in all matters he needs. Our Lord is our Trustee. All our affairs proceed by His power. What an excellent Trustee and what an excellent Helper He is. Yet we must first take the proper measures and only then entrust our affairs to our Lord. To resent destiny without having taken the measures is unjust. Allah tells His sincere believing servants to trust in Him in every circumstance and condition they face. Indeed, all the prophets met with many difficulties while conveying Allah's religion, and the communities they addressed often opposed them with hostility. Yet the messengers always displayed a courageous and resolute stance in proclaiming Allah's oneness and His commands and prohibitions. They always took Allah as their Trustee and sought His pleasure alone. To understand the reality of tawhid, the servant should keep his heart free of affairs, entrust all matters to Allah, and not occupy his heart with their difficulties and hardships. Allah, the Trustee, is exceedingly rich. Since the Trustee is so rich, so faithful and so generous, turn to worshipping your Lord. Whoever knows Allah must place his trust in Him in all his affairs and entrust every matter to Him.

The noble name Al-Wakil is recited 66 times as "Ya Wakil, jalla jalaluhu" in order to become rich materially and spiritually. Upon the heart of whoever persists in the remembrance of the noble name Al-Wakil, saying "Ya Wakil, jalla jalaluhu", tranquillity descends and his sorrows vanish.
