Al-Matin

The Firm, exceedingly steadfast, who has power over all things. Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength." (Adh-Dhariyat, 58) Al-Matin is the One whose might and strength never diminish and who never grows weak. This applies to Allah alone. All beings besides Him lose their strength over time and grow weak. This change is impossible for Allah but possible for created beings. Whoever knows Allah's might and strength abandons boasting of his own strength and turns to the Possessor of supreme power. Whoever knows this name should strengthen his religious bonds, increase his knowledge, and possess a firm and certain faith that can be shaken in no way whatsoever. No matter is difficult for Allah. Nothing renders Him powerless. Nothing can oppose His governance. Nothing can escape His strength.

The noble name Al-Matin is recited 500 times as "Ya Matin, jalla jalaluhu" in order to be delivered from laziness and from material and spiritual weakness. If the noble name Al-Matin is written for a woman whose milk is scarce and she drinks it, her milk increases. If it is recited ten times in the form "Al-Qawiyyu'l-Matin" over a sinful young woman or man, their immorality departs. If someone persists in reciting the name "Ya Matin", it is hoped that difficult affairs will be made easy for him. If someone writes the name "Ya Matin" upon some food and gives it to a woman whose milk is scarce, her milk becomes plentiful.
